Ballarat

Classic morning tea served in the opulent surrounds of at Ballarat’s Craig’s Royal Hotel, a legendary Australian gold-rush era grand hotel. Opened in 1853 and host to poets, princes and prime ministers over its 150 year history, the hotel is a true icon of the Victorian period.

         OR

Call into Mitchell Harris Wine Bar for a sample of their flagship sparkling in their rediscovered 1890’s produce store and workshop, crafted to industrial cool.

Lunch

Best’s Great Western

Go ‘behind the scenes’ for a special museum tasting and rustic hamper lunch in the historic cellar at Best’s Great Western. Founded in 1866, Best’s is home to some of the oldest vines in Australia.

Afternoon

 

Choose between a rest and relax at your hotel and maybe a meander in the pretty village of Dunkeld.

We can take you up into the spectacular Grampians National Park and stop at some scenic lookouts where you’ll feel you’re on top of the world.

Morning

Maybe start the day with a morning walk where you’ll most likely run into some of our native wildlife. Then complete your Royal Mail experience with an a la carte breakfast and a tour of the hotel’s extensive kitchen garden.

Mount Langi Ghiran

After a scenic drive we’ll arrive at Mount Langi Ghiran winery to taste amazing wines at the cellar door with the magnificent setting of Mt Langi Ghiran National Park as a backdrop before continuing on to Daylesford, Australia’s largest natural springs area.

Lunch

The Lake House – Daylesford

Enjoy a 3 course lunch at the fabled Lake House, nestled on the shores of Lake Daylesford while observing art works by well known artist and proprietor Allan Wolf Tasker.
