Itinerary

  • 9:00am

    Depart Melbourne CBD

  • 10:15am

    Scotchmans Hill Vineyard

Ignite the senses at an iconic Victorian winery. Established in 1982, Scotchmans Hill is located in the heart of the Bellarine Peninsula. A producer of premium cool maritime climate wines known especially for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, Scotchmans Hill has been a leading Australian winery for over thirty years. The immaculately maintained vineyards overlook Port Phillip Bay and most days offer a view to Melbourne.
  • 11:15am

    Pasquini Café, Point Lonsdale

A sneaky little late morning latte or cappuccino with some home baked goods provide the extra warm fuzzy feeling to go with the stunning view of Port Phillip Bay Headlands. You could sit here for hours watching the stirring waters with ships entering and leaving the bay…. But alas, we have lunch to get to.
  • 12:00pm

    Jack Rabbit Vineyard

Unrivalled views across the bay to Geelong, the You Yangs Mountain range, Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula. Jack Rabbit is a must visit destination on the Bellarine and we are delighted to be eating lunch here. Yippee!! A tasty lunch with local food produce and wine in the House of Jack Rabbit is relaxed to the point where you feel yourself melting in your chair and realising you are in one of the most amazing dining locations on earth. One course main meal with a glass of wine and wine tasting inclusive. We just love it. (A fine dining option is also available at Jack Rabbit Restaurant)
  • 1:30pm

    Scenic Bay Coastal Amble

Ever lived so close to something so amazing and didn’t know it was there?? Well this is one little secret that most Melbournians don’t even know about! “William Buckley Trail” and we want to share it with you. A stunning and fascinating historic coastal drive from Portarlington to Indented Head. Certainly a great bay road less travelled by tourists showcasing the quieter parts of the coast with stunning beach homes alongside sandy and grassy foreshores. Heaven. We can stop a few times and absorb the fresh sea air, history and natural beauty.
  • 2:45pm

    Oakdene Vineyard

This cellar door is manned by a small team of Bellarine Peninsula locals who, over the years, have developed an intimate understanding of the region’s growing capabilities and produced wine to match. The team are always keen to talk you through their range of award winning wines. The quirky artisan property itself is a delight to explore after your wine tasting. From a wheelbarrow Christmas tree to a garden bed of cheese graters and pick axe heads. We guarantee you’ll find something fun and unique in every part of the property, it’s amazing how it all just works. A great place to finish our day.
